Every time I hear the word “krill” I can’t help but think about that scene in Finding Nemo where Marlin is worried about getting eaten by the whale and Dory assures him they’re safe because whales only eat krill, followed by, “Oh look, krill.” Turns out whales know a thing or two about being healthy.
Everest Nutrition Krill Oil is the latest addition to the antioxidant/DHA/EFA supplement market. Like fish oil, krill oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids that have been shown to help lower cholesterol and generally make our hearts healthier. Krill oil also contains another powerful antioxidant, astaxanthin, not found in fish oil, making krill oil a more powerful antioxidant than fish oil.

I’ve been taking Everest Nutrition krill oil supplements for a few weeks now and I definitely feel like my energy levels are higher and so far so good on the PMS symptoms. My heart health is always on my mind since I have heart disease on both sides of my family. It’s one of the big reasons I try to watch what I eat and I like the idea of providing my body some extra nutrients to help protect my heart. I also really like the idea of less facial wrinkles. I’m just starting to see fine lines and I would like those to go away. The only thing I’m not super keen on is that I get a shellfish kind of taste when I first put it in my mouth. Once I swallow, the taste goes away and I haven’t had any problems with a lingering fishy taste.
I am definitely enjoying Everest Nutrition Krill Oil and can’t wait to see more improvements in my health as I continue to use it.
