Oh, hello. I’ve been doing this whole NaNoWriMo thing and haven’t seen the light of the bloggy world much this month. Don’t mind my squinting, the bright light still hurts my eyes. NaNo Week 1
Today marks the beginning of the second week of NaNoWriMo. So, how was week one? Glad you asked. Overall pretty good (I’m ahead of schedule on my word count) and surprisingly educational. I thought NaNo would teach me some things about writing, but I didn’t realize how much and how fast. These are a few of the realizations I came to this week. NaNoWriMo Begins
Today is the first official day of NaNoWriMo! I’m super excited to get started. There is a widget with my word count on the lower right sidebar so you can watch my progress if you’re so inclined. Although I’m sure my first novel will not see the light of bookstores, at least I will (hopefully) have written one by the end of the month. 1667 words a day, about 7 pages, is quite a bit, so I may be a little absent around here this month.
