Winter Gardening

Los Angeles has finally started to grow on me.  I’ve lived here for almost eight years now. One of the things I enjoy is winter gardening.  Vegetables grow here all year round. It’s nice. This year, since we had our backyard redone, I actually have some nice garden space that, even better, is hooked up to a sprinkler system. I tend to get a little lazy about the watering after a while. Our new backyard

We decided to have our backyard redone.  It took a bit longer than we expected, but it’s finally done.  Well, mostly.  We decided to be eco-friendly and go with California friendly plants that are drought tolerant.  Once established, we should be able to water most of the yard every 1-2 weeks. Which is what we do now, only now our yard should’t become a bunch of dead weeds.
