Sock Laundry is the Worst

Laundry is no fun. I know no one who likes it. Some people don’t mind it, but no one I know actually enjoys it. For me, the worst is the folding. I hate to fold laundry. Especially children’s laundry. Tiny shirts, tiny skirts, tiny panties, 3T or 5T, they all look the same. For some reason, small clothes seem to take longer to fold. Going for A World Record

Yesterday was the L.A. marathon. In November I briefly thought about signing up for it. I’ve always wanted to run one, just to be able to say that I did.  Then I decided not this year at least. Since it absolutely poured here yesterday, I feel I made a wise decision. But, it got me thinking of my bucket list (you know, the by the time I’m 40 list, not the before I die one). Green Thursdays: Using Less Laundry Detergent

I am so excited to do this post.  I have been wanting to do it for a long time, but have been waiting to run out of laundry soap.  You see, I read this article, about Americans using too much laundry detergent.  It basically said that we think more soap equals cleaner laundry.  We don’t pay attention to the fill lines on the cap, and instead just fill the cap all the way to the top, way more than needed.  It wastes laundry soap, it wastes money having to buy soap more frequently, it makes our clothes dingy with build-up, […]
